If you could see into the shadows of my mind
You would know my thoughts are ready to unwind.
Like the devils advocate, I’m the mastermind
Set out to provoke you because I’m so unkind.
I have cometh to take the life of your soul
And transform you into a raging evil troll.
You see my dear, we’re just a burning coal,
Fueling the darkness of our own black hole.
The depths of our minds play silly games
As we set out to absorb the lost claims;
Who have died amongst the many names
That we’re deported into the eternal flames.
The raging storms lie living within our head
But the beast within the shadows, isn’t dead;
He has risen and is now eager to be fed
As the colour of the flowers fade from red.
The power of the shadow sucks a life away,
Creating a monster that’s eager to play.
Unable to stop as he’s hunting his prey;
He’s set to destroy all who stand in the way
Welcome to the nightmare that lives inside
I hope you’ve enjoyed the shadows ride
I have no more dignity, nor do I have pride
So bow down before me and becometh my bride.
