Somewhere south of the equator is the reflection of me
Who has become everything I’ve dreamed she would be.
The similarities we both share are so extraordinary
That everything we write becomes the same words we see.
Somehow the two of us have made a strong connection
Because we both share the same emotional affection
We never believed that our dreams could come true
But now we both know that they truly indeed do
We’ve never felt so much love come from a friend before
And each day our loving friendship grows more and more.
In a complete different hemisphere, we live so far apart
Yet I’ve never felt anyone closer, right here in my heart
The reflection of myself is who I’ve finally found
And together in our hearts we’re both safe and sound.
